In clothing and fashion design, a button is a small disc, typically round, object usually attached to an article of clothing in order to secure an opening, or for ornamentation. Functional buttons work by slipping the button through a fabric or thread loop, or by sliding the button through a reinforced slit called a buttonhole. Buttons may be manufactured from an extremely wide range of materials, including natural materials such as antler, bone, horn, ivory, shell, vegetable ivory, and wood; or synthetics such as celluloid, glass, metal, bakelite and plastic. Hard plastic is by far the most common material for newly manufactured buttons; the other materials tend to occur only in premium apparel. From Wikipedia under the

Q. I'm planning to get a ds lite but my friend recommended the psp cuz everything about the lite break very easily, especially the buttons? What would you recommend? Asked by Cool Hwhip - Sat Sep 20 05:33:03 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. Not at all. Usually Nintendo makes pretty durable stuff. Probably since it seems to be directed toward family playing. I have a DS and nothing has ever broken or fallen off. I dropped it on accident a couple times, and nothing happened. That doesn't mean that you should treat your DS like it's bullet proof, obviously if you don't take care of it, it will screw up like any other electronic device.
